Wanted: A TEACHER OF ENGLISH

King David's Christian Primary School in Poznań is urgently looking for a teacher of English. One of the teachers here has suddenly resigned, leaving 5 classes of children aged 7 to 12. They have English lessons every day.
Anybody willing to take over from now till mid-June will be very welcome to stay with our family during this time - we offer free accomodation and meals.

News from ‘New Life’ Christian Fellowship…

* A Good Sign

Work is continuing among the deaf folks who are part of the fellowship. The New Testament translation project is under way and a web site has been set up.

* Mark’s Gospel

Dale continues to teach from the Gospel of Mark on Sundays. He is doing a verse by verse series and we are currently in Mark 6. The sermons are quite practical and are always applied to our everyday lives.

Every week we discover something new, so it is quite exciting. :)

* Eldership

Dale continues to lead the Fellowship in his role as an elder, along with Rafal and Krzysztof. Each function in the church according to their gifts. Decisions are made collectively and they meet on a regular basis to talk and pray.

* Family Life

Family life continues to revolve around school, music, history and scouting. Home education in Poland seems to be growing - the school in Wrocław where Hannah and Sarah take their homeschooling exams (along with two other students) has decided to widen their offer for families teaching at home and we were asked again to share our experience

Winter is nearly gone - after seven months of non-stop central heating we are happy to finally be able to turn it off during the day! We are praying and planning to finally insulate and plaster the outside of the house, the work possibly starting in May, to finish it off before English summer camps in July/August. We're in the process of arranging a large mortgage / bank credit for this…

…and let's just say - the banks are not too impressed with our financial abilities! :) Pray that we get all the money needed and that the work on the house is done well.

* CELT – Christian Educational & Language Training
In February our family was joined by David Cave from Ireland via Portugal! David is training in teaching English and is helping Dale in his business classes. In his free time David is ‘taken over’ as a playmate by our two boys!

CELT’s new emphasis is on both English & History and so on St. Patrick’s Day over 100 children, teenagers & their teachers heard Dale & his colleague Tomek share some things about the real St. Patrick, the times in which he lived and the truths he believed. We have also held a couple of other Exhibitions for teenagers @36a and in their school.

Cithora Sanctorum – Our Medieval Music group organized a Christmas concert & are rehearsing for several Easter events.

Upcoming events:
* Passover Meal & Easter away
* Christian Conference for Deaf people @36a – May 13th-15th.
* Christian English Language Camps – July / August @36a with Lincoln teams.
